In between chasing after her little one, baking, gardening, attempting to clean, and enjoying a bit of reality television here and there, she absolutely hopes to write stories that touch readers, make them laugh a little, and give them an escape from reality.

She loves writing about friendships, small towns, sisters, secrets, and men who are keepers! It might have something to do with marrying her high school sweetheart. 

Sometimes the stories are set off the coast of Washington, where she grew up and started her family, or in a small Midwest village with meddling neighbors and nosy book clubs where she's always spent a good amount of time. She just never knows where the characters will take her.

Karice also received an MFA in Creative Writing from the U of W.
